This is not good @Blossom1961 Has anyone checked to make sure there is not some sort of mechanical obstruction such as a twisted intestine or an adhesion? Being constipated is common enough but it sounds like you are past any stage of normal now. The build up of pressure can cause leakages which can lead to peritonitis. Time to be a bit more demanding, everyone sounds like they are focussed on your surgery but that doesn't mean something else doesn't need attention. Mxx
