Nervous and feeling vulnerable.

Hi C, if you ring your surgeon, the receptionist will be able to tell you you the names of the specialists he has for you. You could also ask whether they will contact you or if you need to contact them. A lot will be away for a week or two, but you need to heal first, so the holidays shouldn't impact on you at all. I had my surgery around Christmas 3 years ago, and I had to wait for holidays to pass, but there was always someone around. I came out of hospital on Christmas Day, and started treatment on January 20th. They like you to be about 3 or 4 weeks post surgery before chemo. Good luck with it all. Love Chris xx
