Yes. Most people have a few days of testing at the start.
The timing could be due to many things other than you. Like ....the machine is going to be serviced, they like to schedule all your appointments around the same time as they think it is less intrusive, takes different amounts of time to get results back, dr so and so is going on holidays for two weeks so let's do this test anyway just in case we need it.... You can't second guess these things. Could be any number of reasons.
