Life post chemo & radiation: tamoxifen & having children

Thank you for your reply! It's taken me so long to actually get to things like emails etc etc...I've actually finished Chemo & 5.5 weeks of radiation and now I'm on the 10 year plan of meds! yay..

I still feel like the Onc would prefer me not to have children, although there isn't a great deal of data surrounding Hormone positive BC and having children increacing the chance of reoccurance. I'm looking into using a Surrogate but the laws in Vic are difficult! It's such a tough decision, no point having a child if I'm not going to be around to enjoy them!

I can't decide what was worse, FEC or D...each time I had the drug it gave me completely different side effects! All I know is we don't ever want to go through that again!

Hope you are feeling ok on Tamoxifen...Im on Aromasin and monthly injection - the joint aches, insomnia and hot flushes are almost unbearable!
