Good evening lovelies...sorry for late post or lack of everything of late...just finished work and struggling with working full time...anyway I have a question on sex drive. Is it the letrazole...I do not have any interest in sex what so ever. I’m single and met someone recently and when I say met...I mean came to my attention lol it just worries me that nothing registers down there. Is this normal and will my sex drive return? ☹️ xx

@Sister Me too. It's sunny and 18° here today. I'm not even dressed yet and I feel better just looking out the window.Mind you, Girl15's birthday party is tonight. Postponed because her birthday fell during chemo, throwing a party for a house full of teenagers is dead set passion killer through exhaustion alone!

My libido declined during menopause. It was worse after chemo but improved again despite letrozole. I don't have a strong drive now however I can get interested with the pressures of life off (adequate sleep etc) and it still works. Just takes a bit more to get me fired up without my tits. But I get there. Weirdly I have more drive when I've done a lot of exercise. Go figure.

Fingers crossed for the warmer weather. It's always had a positive impact on me.

Still probably one of the saddest parts about this shit. Wasn't ready to lose this part of my life. Lot's of tears over this situation. Just when the kids are all moving out and finally might have some us time. I don't think there's going to be any swinging from the chandeliers now. How many things can change within a year huh????It's def the HT, go off it, libido making an appearance within a week,. 2 or three weeks back on..........gone. Zip, zilch, nothing, nada. Guess one week every three months is better than nothing :neutral: So over this fucking "journey" blah.

Ladies,
i haven't started hormone therapy yet , but have finished chemo and can at least feel "cancer normal " that nothing is happening down there nor interest , husband is being fantastic , keeps hoping for the light to go on , I guess after reading all the posts I will have to tell him that he can stop hoping and take up a hobby since after surgery HT is my next step.
I will thank you for making me smile and part of the crappy cancer " journey " family.

Oh god! I just had a vivid memory that seems appropriate. My good friend used to have a V dub - the bonnet would not stay up and used to snap shut at the slightest provocation.
