I’m 55, got estrogen positive breast cancer at 43. After a mastectomy and chemo was placed on tamoxifen. 18 months later a recurrence on the same side followed by more surgery and radiation. 12 months on had the ovaries removed. After a few more years moved to arimadex as the headaches from tamoxifen were unbearable… 2 years later I have osteoporosis so I stopped all drugs. I’ve now had 2 infusions for the osteoporosis. This year I got endometrial cancer and had to have a radical hysterectomy followed by brachytherapy…. I’ve also got issues with my spine… stress fracture and collapsed disc 🙄 but my question- now that I have no ovaries, no uterus, no cervix, only have 1 breast left and all the symptoms of low/no estrogen is there any harm in taking HRT? Would that improve the bone density/ osteoporosis? How do I improve bone health how do I stop any more issues as result of the side effects of having had estrogen positive breast cancer 10 year’s ago????
