Reading about your childhood is shocking and I am so sorry that that was your lot. One of my best friends had not dissimilar levels and types of abuse from her father and a very truncated 'childhood'. My admiration for her efforts to distance her adult life from her early years knows no bounds. I sense it would be the same for you. K xox
