Hi Flightie1983, My name is Jess and i help to look after the online network for BCNA.
I just wanted to jump in to say hello, It sounds like you are going through a pretty tough time, and It is not uncommon for feelings of stress and anxiety to come up when your loved one has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I think you're taking the right steps in reaching out and asking for some support.
Can I suggest maybe giving Cancer Council Helpline a call on 13 11 20 (it's free). They have a confidential telephone information and support line and anyone can call including family and friends. They have specially trained staff who can answer your questions about your Mum's cancer and treatment and can offer emotional or practical support for you both.
And you also might like to also have a look at BeyondBlue to get some advice, tips and support that may help http://www.beyondblue.org.au/
We also have some information on our website about breast cancer along with some booklets, fact sheets, and kits which may also be useful for your mum and are available online to have a look at and to order on 1800 500 258.
If you need help within the online network or connecting with others, please just let me know.
~ Jess
