The fires are an absolute tragedy. There really is no other word to describe it. It tears at your heart strings everytime you watch the news.
I totally agree with you about the personal growth. You probably won't fall apart or if you do you will recover fast. You have already picked up the pieces of a life changing event. I find myself incredibly more balanced and almost unshakeable for the most part. As long as everyone is safe and healthy you really are fine.
