Bra
Hi there I went bra shopping today to get some new bras of the type I bought when I had my double mastectomy and reconstruction and thought I would share.
The bra is “ Comfort Revolution” by Playtex and is lovely and soft with a bit of padding and no underwire.
I went from E cup to C cup and am slightly smaller on the cancer/radiated breast and the padding smooths it out.

Some ladies on here have found her to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful - Thanks @Julez1958 yes there are but haven't been too keen on my options from them so far, I love a good recommendation so was just seeing if it might have been another option.
- No they don’t have that facility.
I did get a bra from Leila 0 ‘Toole here in Sydney that had that facility it was fine but more expensive - not sure where you are but I imagine there are specialist shops with mastectomy bras in all major cities. - Hi @Julez1958 can you put a softie or prosthesis into these playtex revolution bras?

Very much appreciated 🙏 - Yes I got those initially but the Playtex ones I think are more comfy.
- I got post surgical bras from Kmart. Cheap and excellent. My Breast care nurse recommended them.
- No good getting shoes fitted these days @Afraser as they don't have the size ranges we had in the past.
In Melbourne I lived near a decent lingerie shop so bra fitting was a normal thing. - My prosthesis bra was the first time in my life I got a bra fitted. It turned out to be one of the most comfortable - it's amazing how many women never get their bras professionally fitted. Or their shoes...
