    Yes it is warm and sunshiny - 40° on my birthday, 40 the day before but today - a cool change only 37!

    A lovely day, thankyou. Spent quietly as I am not one for a fuss. I did however treat myself to a hair appointment with our Fly in / Fly out (FIFO) hairdresser. She just happen to be in town for my birthday week. I took advantage.

    No chocolate birthday cake, however I did indulge in an icecream birthday cake. Never too old for icecream birthday cake.

    There is always next year. I am doing alright. Small problem with my heart (some in town were surprised to learn that I have a heart!), however damn thing has decided to go on strike and is causing some failure. Very sorry to hear about your back. Hope it is coming good.

    We had hoped to be over your way again but some unexpected back surgery (on me) prevented us getting away this year, so we're stuck in Canberra freezing our butts off while you're about to melt with the heat.
