Where do I find info on different oncologists?
I've only recently been diagnosed with de novo metastatic BC and because I'm in the public health system I didn't get a choice on who treated me. I'm now seeing an oncologist at the Sunshine Coast Uni...

@HinterlandSian - I am sorry you are not gelling with your Onc. .... you are not alone!! I didn't like my first Onc - he was very dismissive of my side effects & didn't even appear to be interested in me as a patient .... and had a chance to see his 'underling' ( a fully trained Onc from Sth America) who was going thru accreditation in Australia .... so moved over to her & been happy ever since!! She has since become my husband's Onc as well!
You could google the hospital that you are being treated at & see which Oncs are that are available to patients there and can then google individual Oncs ... there can be a sort of 'review' like trip advisor that shows patient's satisfaction level!! ..... definitely ask your Breast Care Nurse - that is what they are there for - to help YOU out xx
