Update! Fingernails will never be beautiful but they are no longer splitting into my finger causing bleeding. They still split but only as they grow so I now keep them super short. My toenails are no longer chalky. My podiatrist is amazed at the difference and my GP remarked today that they look great. Highly recommend. Thank you so much @Ccaza. Linseed oil is now part of my ongoing regime.
