Why can't I edit my profile? I want to update it but I get a message saying I can't do that!

- PatsyNMember@Marianne_BCNA I use my laptop (macbook pro) via Google Chrome which is out of date but works better than Safari. Although it's out of date all my other pages ie, Facebook etc work just fine. But I also have a Samsung Note 8 and I will try to update my profile via my newer and more sophisticated phone. That's why I bought it and I keep forgetting to use it for anything except calls and messages, lol.
- SisterMemberThanks - thought I needed to reflect a calm image!
- DeanneMemberMysteries of technology. I actually saw this picture as your profile picture yesterday when you were saying you could not change it! Also saw your original picture when you tried to change it back but you thought you were unsuccessful. Love the new pic by the way. :)
- SisterMemberPicture changed successfully - I assume something was fixed as this morning it the screen loaded differently. Thanks
- SoldierCrabMemberSister Click on Save avatar and it will upload the new pic or your old one if you put that up
Marianne....
I just the following to access
android- chrome
ipad safari,
PC Chrome
or edge - SisterMemberI don't get any error message just nothing to click on.
- Marianne_BCNAMemberThanks for info - that's helpful.
Does an error message come up?
@PatsyN, can you screenshot the message you are getting? - SisterMemberI've tried to put the old photo back up but couldn't. While there is a button for Save Avatar, there is no option for Save File but it's been so long since I put the photo up the first time that I don't remember what the screen looked like. BTW The original photo was 2.3 mb so was over, too.
- SisterMemberI've had another look at the photo and it's just over 2mb so I'm guessing that could be a problem. I'll try putting the old photo back up - it's hard to get a pic that is under 2!
- kmakmMemberI access the network on my Samsung S7 mobile phone. I think it uses Chrome.
