- Blossom1961MemberThe flowers my Osteopath gave me have opened up
- arpieMemberGotta agree with that one, @LucyDee .... even back in the 70s/80s .... now & then, I just couldn't get out of bed on my days off (I worked at a hospital and watched a lot of really horrible stuff happen) ...... and it was before you could download stuff to watch ..... it was just BLISS, pretending you WEREN'T THERE, cos the only communication tool was the landline phone! If you didn't want to answer it - you just DIDN'T!! ;)

- Patti_JMemberWe have a minor celebrity where I live who posts wonderful sayings on a billboard.
One that I particularly like is: "Not all disabilities are visible". - Blossom1961MemberI wasn't sure where to put this as I didn't want to start a new discussion and this is a lovely positive thing that happened today. My osteopath gave me a bunch of flowers to thank me for trusting him with my care during the past eight months since my initial diagnose. He has been there for me from the start. He has helped me through many side effects including stress and unnecessary pain caused from treatments from unfeeling medical staff. I often landed in his clinic a complete emotional mess and left 45mins later relaxed and ready to take on the next challenge. Wouldn't it be nice if all our medical staff treated us with gratitude? I know, not going to happen. It is expected to be the other way around, but this was just so lovely I had to share.
