There is a common theme here ... it IS the little things that count. The normality of being able to browse and look at sizes and colours and styles and prices without having to be guided by a sales assistant is so normal.
Of course it's also essential to have well trained sales staff, but being able to make some initial choices and then seek guidance makes shopping so much more pleasurable.
I hate feeling like I'm taking up too much staff time or that I'm being railroaded into something I'm not sure about. I much prefer to be able to wander and compare and then be advised.
It would be wonderful if the practice was more widespread.
