It is a scary time and one of uncertaintly surrounding your treatment plan at the beginning.
I was diagnosed in 2007 when I was 36 and my children were only young. I am happy to report that this week marks five years since I finished chemo and we are planning our overseas trip in about 7 weeks time. Life is good and as you mentioned it really does make you look at your priorities.
Let us know when you have your treatment plan and we can help you with some practical suggestions and hold your hand. Hope your husband and children are spoiling you and you are resting up before the treatment starts.
