Nerve damage can take quite a while 'reconnect' .... and some shooting pains may even happen. I found my 4 weeks of radiation to be almost 'relaxing' once it started - thinking about it stirred me up more than actually 'doing it'! The Rads nurses will advise you on lotions & potions - just keep moisturising the area often after each session ... and continue for 3-4 weeks after you've finished the rads. You'll notice that the breast area will actually feel quite 'warm' even after it finishes - all the more reason to keep the lotions & potions up to it xx
