Male Specialists
Is it just me, or is there a higher ratio of male breast surgeons & gynaecologists. Is this real, and if so, why?
I have a male surgeon and a male oncologist. My ‘investigating and referring’ GP was female. She chose the best surgeon available quickly - a choice I have been very happy with for a decade! He proposed my oncologist, ditto. I’d be very happy with female practitioners but I am happy with my two male practitioners.
