Male Specialists
Is it just me, or is there a higher ratio of male breast surgeons & gynaecologists. Is this real, and if so, why?

According to statistics, three sources quote the figure that just 13% of surgeons are female...(speciality unspecified). 44.6% of obstetricians and gynaecologists are female.
