HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all my lovely pink sisters. Like many others this is probably the first since diagnosis. It is mine. I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends and treasure every moment. Life is so precious!

I had a lovely day too. My 15 year old daughter made me cry this morning with a card she wrote to me. I just didn't realise how much of an effect the last year had on her. She keep so much inside but shared it this morning. I love my girls so much and realise now how lucky I am. They do appreciate me so much but until something like this happens to you you don't realise how much. Mother's Day in the past hasn't been that big a deal for us but from now on I think it will take on a whole new significance.

Happy Mother's day to you too.I got breakfast in bed but after that ,worked hard to give my daughter a birthday lunch.One good thing is I don't have to cook dinner-plenty of leftovers!
