Driving after masectomy
Just wondering how long people waited to be able to drive after masecomy and flap reconstruction.

- Check with your medical team as they know the extent of the work they did.
If there was an accident it may negate your insurance so best to check.
I was told 6 weeks for single R mastectomy only. - Yes agree with @June1952
Everyone is different and your medical team can give you a guide.
I couldn’t drive until 6 weeks from my mastectomy ( skin sparing with insertion of tissue expanders) and same with my DIEP flap surgery 10 months later.
