Disappointed in The Beacon's name change
Hi All
It's been a long time since I posted. I've been thinking about this, and watching to see if anyone else commented on this. I don't know if somewhere along the way I've missed something. Was there discussion or consultaion about the name change to Pink Lady? I feel that it's diappointing, and disrespectful to our male members, after all, men do get breast cancer too, And as an organisation, I thought the aim was to be more inclusive, not less.

Hopefully feedback will come and yes you have to wonder why they didn't consider a post on this forum for suggestions. Maybe this is like glad wrap they didn't consult with those that count and then had to revert back - What about calling it “the Titty mag” OMfG I’m hilarous..... totally inappropriate but hilarious lol! Why don’t you stsrt a post about the name change suggestions if you feel the need to change it. What about “Waves” as bc has lots of ups and downs ??? Love your comments too as usually @Zoffiel. - Have to wonder about the consultation. There must be some focus group or similar. I would've taken part if I could.
