DCIS - Beacon article
Hi Everyone
Found this article (link below) in recent Beacon issue. For anyone with DCIS diagnosis - hope you find it helpful - I did!
Having been through DCIS diagnosis and treatment, I know how difficult it is to weigh up risks and make treatment decisions when there's no clear path to follow.
My thought for the week ahead - Do something kind - just for you - every day!

Good to hear that there's also work being done on decision aids that may help women with DCIS in the future.
Every bit of research helps!
Di - It is a very confusing and fraught issue that many struggle with. Hopefully the clinical trials will help to develop more conclusive ways of dealing with DCIS.

Di - I disagree about the wording pre- cancerous . ..it is pre invasive yes but they are cancer cells.
