Hi Sal,Great news they have caught it early. Your surgeon will probably make you do a heap more scans and blood test before the operation. My week after being told. I had bloods, core biopsy (which you said didn't need) CT, Bones scan, MRI. I found it good to have them all even though thought OMG but it kept me busy and they need to know what they are really dealing with. The day of my surgery I also had a scan to show where the blood flow was going through my Lymph nodes but I had a left mastectomy. You may just have the lump out.Good luck with thursday.Vanessa xx
