Hi Shaz, I knew of this organisation but unmistakenly thought I didn't fit the criteria. When I have had my radiation regime (twice) it has meant that I have been away from home (8 hours by car - one hour by plane) for the entire time.(7 weeks the first and 6 weeks the second) We have Patient Subsidy Scheme (PSS) in Queensland which pays for travel to and from the location. But they don't pay for any trips home during treatment. I chose to pay for a trip home each time but of course everything costs money. If only I knew that I could access this service. Now I do. Thank you as I know of others who will now be able to benefit from this service. XLeonie
