Not sure of your situation but yes it is a hard road. I was diagnosed in 2020 in lockdown and had surgery, chemo, radium and hormone suppression. More surgery in 2021 and unfortunately for me I was diagnosed with metastatic disease in 2023. It's an up and down ride for me. At the moment I am stable which is great. Mets mean living with uncertainty all the time and terrifying experienced with every scan.
Lucky most people diagnosed with breast cancer recover and live normal lives. Thank goodness for that. Early intervention helps most people which is terrific. Counselling helps, exercise helps and eating well, doing things you enjoy helps too. Staying in the present moment is the key to peace of mind.
