๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Join the Can Walk Can Run Program โ€“ Melbourne & Sydney

Members of our network are invited to take part in a University of Melbourne research study exploring the Can Walk Can Run program - a codesigned, communityโ€‘based walking and running initiative for people affected by cancer.

This program offers inclusive, fun, nonโ€‘judgmental group walking and running sessions. People living with and beyond cancer - along with their friends and family - are welcome to join as many sessions as they like - including those that have already started!

๐Ÿ“Studley Park, Kew (Melbourne) โ€“ from 16 March

๐Ÿ“Princes Park, Carlton (Melbourne) โ€“ from 6 April

Who can join?
Youโ€™re eligible if you:
โœ” are over 18
โœ” have a lived experience of cancer
โœ” can walk independently
(Current trials are available only in Sydney and Melbourne.)

Sessions include:
โ€ข Welcome and introduction
โ€ข Group warmโ€‘up with simple strength exercises
โ€ข Walking and/or running activities tailored to your ability
A sixโ€‘week walking, jogging, or running plan is also available for those unable to attend in person.
