๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Join the Can Walk Can Run Program โ Melbourne & Sydney
Members of our network are invited to take part in a University of Melbourne research study exploring the Can Walk Can Run program - a codesigned, communityโbased walking and running initiative for people affected by cancer.
This program offers inclusive, fun, nonโjudgmental group walking and running sessions. People living with and beyond cancer - along with their friends and family - are welcome to join as many sessions as they like - including those that have already started!
๐Heffron Park, Maroubra (Sydney) โ from 4 March
๐Studley Park, Kew (Melbourne) โ from 16 March
๐Princes Park, Carlton (Melbourne) โ from 6 April

Who can join?
Youโre eligible if you:
โ are over 18
โ have a lived experience of cancer
โ can walk independently
(Current trials are available only in Sydney and Melbourne.)

Sessions include:
โข Welcome and introduction
โข Group warmโup with simple strength exercises
โข Walking and/or running activities tailored to your ability
A sixโweek walking, jogging, or running plan is also available for those unable to attend in person.
