Was diagnosed 27th November 2019 I'm in some kind of denial
My story actually starts when I had my 2 yearly mammogram which was in October this year. I'm one of those people that when some test needs to be done I do it. This time was no different but deep down...
Does Safety Bay have a cancer clinic or do you have to travel elsewhere for the rads? Patients in rural areas can get compensated for fuel and accommodation costs, depending on how far you have to travel - cos with rads it is every day, Mon-Fri for weeks at a time .... so usually easier to stay where the clinic is, rather than travelling home daily (unless it is very close.)
