I went private for my first surgery. Felt like you, very unsupported and unsure and uninformed. Then I changed surgeons and the whole game changed. I was reborn. Surgeons and other medical staff need to have a lot more than just surgical skills. In my humble opinion it might be worth seeing another specialist. All the best Xx
