Hi @Missy81. Have you thought about, or has anyone mentioned some genetic counselling, or geneitic testing, to help guide decisions?
Beyond that, the nature of DCIS, as the name suggests means that it is not an invasive cancer. At this point in time, there is no way of predicting which cases of DCIS go on to become invasive, and which won't. That does nothing to take away the fear we all have. Ask your surgeon when you have your appoinment about whether further testing is warranted.
