Stress and Breast Cancer - new study
Absolutely fascinating.
When I was diagnosed I asked my breast surgeon if stress had played a part. He said that the medical community believed that it did but that it hadn't been proven yet. In the three years prior to my diagnosis I experienced the worst stress of my life. The pull over to the side of the road thinking your having a heart attack kind of stress.

- kezmuscMemberThanks lovelies. Blood test is done and appointment is made for tommorrow. I just had the shits with it all.
@iserbrown funnily enough I had the sonogropher I normally get for all the zillions of breast u/sounds. She looked at me and is like "What, no boobs out today?" Then saw what the referral was for and made comment about variety being the spice of life and we had a laugh. I really like this lady she is always very funny. We are on first name basis now.
Hugs back to all.

Hello! Hope you were able to have something soothing to lull you into a good nights sleep.
You're naturally in fright mode. You have been strong and able and hopefully that fight mode will turn in and phone call made.
I'm with you all the way! This starts out in the breast and next thing you know you have to have a vaginal ultrasound, not a damned one off, it becomes a repeat performance and you lose any sense of dignity.
Who'd thought that a routine mammogram sets us off on paths unknown having to meet specialists and learn and understand terminology. Yeah yeah I know they're looking after us but geeeeezź!
Dial that number when you can, deep breath and fingers crossed they're just checking you're okay!
Take care and best wishes and willing you along for a good outcome

- SisterMemberSand is an excellent filter - just pour the wine onto it.
On a more serious note @kezmusc, I completely understand your response. It's so hard to make appointments for things to be checked. Fingers crossed that everything is routine for you.Sign in to react to this post - Lynn65MemberHey @kezmusc hoping that the call back is just a routine thing. Yeah, head in the sand becomes incredibly appealing at times.Sign in to react to this post
