@FLClover - Sometimes people dont think or they have foot in mouth disease. Others have strong biases to natural therapies which give them comfort but im personally more wedded to science. We cant change one another. I think it is well meaning in the majority of cases. Ive lost track of how often ive been told to be strong or be positive.
Has led to some funny things actually. I was given quite a heavy crystal by wellmeaning friend which was supposed to heal me. Put in my handbag and forgot about it. In the height of chemo, breathless and struggling, i said to husband my handbag is so heavy. He looked through it and said do you know you have a rock in it?
