You really made my day, and my husband's day too! It's so encouraging to know you're still with us after going through circumstances so similar to mine. Yes, the data says that if you make it to five years (and more recent research actually suggests three) then your chances of recurrence drop to the same as the general population. It's probably the only plus about triple negative breast cancer. When I get to five years I will get a plane to wherever you are to share a glass of lime and soda with you.
