I have finally been given a date for my reconstruction through the public sector, and have decided to have a preventative mastectomy and double reconstruction done. I've been following this conversation with interest as I know I'm going to be in a world of pain afterwards, and any advice you can give me is welcome! My surgery is at Westmead public on 30 August 2013..
