using super for reconstruction
hi there just wondering if anyone has managed to use their superannuation for their reconstruction as it is a medical expense??? Was thinking of asking them about it if I went totally private - which ...

Ive always been a private patient, but my Breast Surgeon told me to go Public as he does hours in public as well and works with a Plastic Surgeon. You can also go as a Private Patient in public too which gives you a little more benefits but probs not a private room lol. I saved myself $10,000 this way as thats what it would have been out of pocket for the reconstruction. So you can do either. I didnt ask Super about that so don't know. Melinda xo
