Tightness after latt dorsi reconstruction

Hi Butney, although I didn't have a lat Doris reconstruction ( I had a DIEP flap recon), I did have quite a lot of tightness around the donor site (tummy) as well as tightness around the scars on the new breast. My physio used dry needling (acupuncture) to soften the scar tissue and despite my scepticism it actually worked! She told me she uses that technique for lots of ladies that have had reconstruction to relieve tightness so just wondering if that might help? As Kathryn suggested, finding a good physio that specialises in post breast cancer treatment / lymphedema might assist. Best of luck, Jane xx
