The final step

Well tomorrow is a milestone - it marks the final procedure for reconstruction following my bilateral mastectomy. It's also number 10 since April 2014.

I am glad it will all be over and I can start 2016 fresh with it all behind me. It has been a long haul, a few twists and turns but I made it.

Tomorrow is an early start, up to 6 hours in theatre and all going well 3-4 days in hospital. And then 4-6 weeks recovery.

Thank you for all the love and support along the way it has been an enormous help and kept me going.

I will keep you posted.

    Hello Chris:) What a wonderful way to start 2016!! You are proof that we DO get past all the tough stuff,and life IS good again! Please stay in touch on here,as 'oldies' on the blog are just as important as the 'newbies' Cheers Robyn xox

    Hi Chris,

    That's some journey you've been on. Best wishes for your surgery tomorrow. Hopefully you can put all of this behind you in 2015 because 2016 is on its way. Stay strong and stay cheery.
