Reco Surgery date

Hi everyone,

I thought I would update my blog with the latest. I have a reconstruction surgery date. I had a call from the hospital last week wanting to know how my weight loss was going and she ended up booking me in for my surgery. WOW, she was very pleased with my efforts and wanted to get on with it. Im still a little hessitant because of the significant surgery Im about to undertake, but Im looking forward to being in one piece again. To me this is the last step in my BC journey.

I have lost 11 kilograms with just the last 5 to go before my surgery 8th November. Better get a riggle on! I have taken the last 6 months to loose the 11kg's but am happy to do it slowly especially over winter. Ive been procrastinating the last month with no weight loss just maintaining it. I now need to get up off my bum and do some walking hopefully in the nicer weather of spring??

    Congratulations on your recon date. This is a big surgery to be ready for so the healthier the better. So off you go, get walking.     That's great news.You have done so well losing 11kgs. I'm sure you'll lose some more with the incentive of a definite surgery date.Yes it's big surgery but most of the ladies who have it seem to do well and are happy with the results.Im still thinking about it,its a big decision. Tonya xx
