Post Surgery and Expander
Hi All,
10 days post surgery unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction and starting to feel more normal except for being able to feel the expander. Pain is not excessive but is causing discomfort.

Thanks for all your tips Wendy. I had to have fluid drained from the breast today and they drained about 300ml so the relief was immediate. Still a bit of stiffness there but more like what I had been experiencing last week.
I have been warned again by the doctor to take it easy but I had been really careful about lifting things etc. I still am not driving and finding that really difficult with two active children.
The first expansion is still scheduled for next week but it depends on how the swelling and bruising goes.
Off to sleep now and feeling more comfortable than last night so hopefully a better nights sleep.
