Patience is a Virtue

Every day, you have to decide who’s going to be in control of your life — you or God. That choice is a battle.

Yesterday I went to my Doctor for the final arrangements for my mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

I happend to mention that I had had a tooth abcess and after a week on antibiotics my Dentist removed my tooth. My Doctor then told me that she would not operate until six weeks had passed as the infection could affect the outcome of the mastectomy. As I do not want any complications from the surgery it is best to wait.

So now 5th November is my new date for the Mastectomy.

 I am going to check out the horses running in the Melbourne Cup that day and see who I can place a winning bet!!

    Hi Anne, my surgery has also been previously cancelled for various reasons. So frustrating, however better to be safe and good that our doctors are looking after us. My new Date dec 4th. Good luck. Paula :)
