Hi I had my reconstruction last year, I also had a lift on the other and at that time I had a nipple made. I'm really happy with mine, I like you was a bit over surgeries and wasn't going to have the tattoo but my PS surgeon convinced me that I should finish the job. Last Saturday I had my tatt I'm so happy I did. I did put some pictures up on the reconstruction site if you want to look.
Ultimately you have to do what you are comfortable with. Good luck
