I about to undergo a breast reconstruction using tissue from my belly. I was interested to hear about peoples experience after this surgery?

Search for "Diep flap" in the search box at the top right of this page for some testimonials that I have found very informative and realistic about reconstruction.
I am doing my own homework about reconstruction and have found the comments very useful.
Check out all the costs involved and ask your health fund (if you are going private) if the surgeon is a 'No gap" provider as it can be a very expensive exercise otherwise. Also ask the surgeon if you could have the name of the anaethesist so you can obtain a written quote from him/her.
