Thank you very much everyone for your really helpful feedback and advice - I really appreciate it. I'm leaning towards having the procedure done again but we've just hit a slight delay with my husband having to have his recent knee replacement done again as well - hard to believe it could happen to both of us! So we'll get that done first and then move on to my surgery. Thanks once again.
