I would post a discussion so other members can see your question and jump in with some help! on the main page on the right hit new discussion and create it there :) otherwise are you on the Breast Reconstruction Group? thats another great place.
I have had radiation back in 2011 and I have just had a mastectomy diep flap recon 11 weeks ago so no implants. Lots of ladies have though.

Melinda xo - TameekaMember@Mum2jj I love you question as this is the trouble I'm having ryt now 2 weeks post op :/ can I hear from some ladies that have had implants then radiation and what u recommend as I wanna have less surgeries as I'm a single mum and need to get back to my baby so just want to feel womanly again and heal quick and get back to my baby :)
- Cate64Member@Marni I had immediate DIEP Flap reconstruction BUT now, 9 years down the track I am having a couple of "improvements" shall we say?? :)
I have had fat fill to pump up one breast that was a bit smaller than the other. So, they sucked the fat out of places I didnt want it & put it in the place I did want it............ It was a win win situation for me... - MarniMemberThanks so much for posting here. Yes I'm looking to hear from anyone who has had a delayed reconstruction and who had radiation (I had it on one side). I've seen two surgeons and one of them is suggesting expanders & implants with either LAT DORSI flap or fat injections on the radiation side. The other surgeon says I should be fine with just the expanders/implants because I'm only asking for a B cup. There's so many options and I'm confused. I would love to have the least surgery possible but also want the best result. Thanks xx
