I approached my surgeon twelve months ago to get my remaining breast removed.Not for health reasons just so i wasnt so lopsided.
He refused and has been trying to persuade me to have a reconstruction ...

Hi Annie, chuckled when I read your post re visit to the surgeon. I definitely do not intend to have a reconstruction but maybe (and it is a big maybe) down the track I may consider having a breast reduction on my remaining boob just so I do not have this 16C one bobbing around when I am braless!!
Had my L-Dex checked today (lymphoedema measurement) and whilst it is up a bit am still within normal range thank goodness. I hate to think what it would be like if I did not keep up with the daily exercises and massaging!!
Off to NZ tomorrow with my husband for a 3 week touring holiday - they are currently experiencing a drought, fingers crossed it doesn't break whilst we are there, have seen quite enough rain here thank you!
