I approached my surgeon twelve months ago to get my remaining breast removed.Not for health reasons just so i wasnt so lopsided.
He refused and has been trying to persuade me to have a reconstruction ...

Well done you! Can't wait to read what your surgeon's reaction is :-)
If you do decide you want the other one off just find another surgeon! You are the one responsible for decisions about your own body...
