Expander after radiation
I was wondering if anyone has had an expander put in successfully after radiation and mastectomy. It is 12 to 13 years since I had the radiation. Thanks

Definately ask your plastic surgeon they will be honest with you, and 13 years is a long time ago. There are new techniques and procedures every day. As I said some women have had this done. The risk of course is capsular contracture, but your PS will advise you on your skin and your case, it's certainly worth the discussion.
