Expander after radiation
I was wondering if anyone has had an expander put in successfully after radiation and mastectomy. It is 12 to 13 years since I had the radiation. Thanks
Hi Lillian, I know it all depends on the condition of your skin. There are some ladies in choosing breast reconstruction who have had this done. There are others who were unable to (myself included due to damage there has been discussion around fat grafting in the area to help as well.
